Who can do 50 chin-ups? Well I learned that I can! Not all in a row just to clarify. My husband challenged me to do 50 chin-up with him. So we took turns doing as many as we could. I started out with 9. My second set I did about 6, then 4… maybe I then did 2. We just continued doing that until we got to 50. Sometimes I could barely do 1 but then the next set I maybe cranked out 4 or 5. I was so relieved to get my chin over that last time.
The next day I wake up and OMG I can hardly lift my arms. I feel it in my back, my sides and my arms of course. I hurt! Its a great feeling though. Its the best kind of pain, the kind of pain that you know you actually worked your muscles. My husband said he could feel it in his abs as well.
I’ve decided that I want to do this challenge with him once a week and keep adding 10 more reps each week. Hopefully in no time I’ll be able to do them with ease :). I doubt that, but a girl can dream right?
